Returns & Refunds Policy

At The Italian Supermarket, we want you to be delighted with your purchase. If something isn't right, here is how we can help.

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn/unused, in its original packaging, and with a receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return

  2. Approval: If accepted, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions.

  3. Shipment: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages & Perishable Items

Because we sell fresh Italian goods, we have specific rules regarding food safety:

  • Fresh & Perishable Goods: Products such as fresh cheeses, meats, and other perishables cannot be returned if you simply change your mind.

  • Quality Issues: If your perishable items arrive damaged, spoiled, or unsafe to eat, please contact us immediately upon delivery. We will evaluate the issue and arrange a replacement or refund to make it right.

  • Inspection: Please inspect your order upon reception. If an item is defective or you received the wrong product, let us know right away.


Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions

Aside from fresh food, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom Products: Special orders or personalized items.

  • Personal Care: Beauty or hygiene-sensitive goods.

  • Hazmat: Flammable liquids or gases.

  • Sale Items & Gift Cards: All sales on these items are final.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you need is to return the original item for a refund. Once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status.

  • Approved Refunds: Processed automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.
