ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Musita is a family owned winery based in Salemi (Trapani), Sicily, founded in 2004 by two brothers and two sisters. It was named after the hill on which the winery is located. The winery transforms locally sourced grapes in quality wines. Main grapes of the area are Catarratto, Grillo and Zibibbo (white), Nero D'Avola, Syrah and Cabernet (red). The Salemi area is, unlike most of Sicily, quite green throughout the year, because of the underground rivers running through the valley. Thanks to the breezes constantly blowing, the vineyards are managed with very little intervention. Wines from this area show great freshness, minerality, elegance and structure.
